How to boost donations

Get rid of the requirement to join this forum! There should be a banner at the top of the home page where a potential donor can click and make a donation without joining. The "Community Chest" icon at the bottom of the page is practically hidden from view!

Get rid of the "offers" during the join process. I personally find this VERY off-putting! Most of those are spam factories that will immediately share a new email address with their "marketing partners".

The "mystery shopper" site is a good example of sham offer. It proudly cites the NCPMS (The National Center For Professional Mystery Shopping And Merchandising) as having ranked it number 1! The NCPMS is a sham. Its two websites (justshop.org and ncpmscenter.org) are just parked domains and both are for sale. Try a "WWW" in front of either and you don't even get a page!

Further, the ownership is hidden behind a private registry. I can almost assure you (if you can even find out) that the mystery shopper domain holder owns them both.

Come on! Make it easy for people to donate and bump up the legitimacy of this whole endeavor by getting rid of the questionable offers!

With a paltry 60 members, you are not doing things right in my humble opinion. I hope you accept my comments and suggestions in the spirit that motivated them. I hate to see a poor woman like Jammie being pounded by multi-million dollar (maybe billion) organizations that don't care they are robbing her of everything she has or ever will have and quite possibly insuring that her children will have nothing too.

Despicable! Reprehensible! To hell with them all!

this is absolutly correct.
i just read that jammie lost her trial again
and immediatly thought i could help her with a donation.
But it is pretty tough to find a way to donate if you make it so difficult.
i think a lot of people would help you out.
But a lot of them don`t even care about your story.
this is not meant in any offencive ( i don`t even knwo if this word exists) way, but, personally, i just wanna donate because it`s fucked up that some company charges that much money for something which many of us wouldn`t regard to as a crime.
so just put something big in front of your site where you can donate

I tried to do as you suggested within the constraints of using Free Forums dot org. There is a new donations subject at the top of the board with a direct link to Paypal. I think, for now, this is the best I can do.

I also moved this topic to the new Index. Thanks.
What is the definition of insanity, you ask? Doing the same thing over and over again, yet expecting different results.
