The RIAA learned from Directv

Postby syber on Mon Sep 28, 2009 6:55 pm

While the RIAA maintains you downloaded songs and listened to them with out paying, Directv made the claim people downloaded code, made an access card and viewed television programming with out paying. They mailed about 150,000 letters and received huge sums from the settlements. of the 150,000 mailed letters, 35000 were actually sued.
I have created a web site here:

http://www.digitalrightownertheft.com/

Which tells my story. There is really a problem when huge companies sue the little guy. The little guy cannot afford to defend or have there day in court when the corporation intentionally drives up the cost of litigation. In my case I had every right to buy an access card to stop a theft of my programming by the satellite company. The satellite company makes the claim the subscriber has no right to stand in there way when the corporation steals. There has been so many sued on the basis of false information provided Federal Judges. Then the Federal Judges seem very gullible.
